Toy Story 3 Hits Online Sportsbooks With Predictions On Sales Opening Weekend

April 7th, 2010 – Written By Bonnie

The first Toy Story movie hit the big screen in 1995, and rocked the box office in the very first weekend it was released. Toy Story was the first of many films to use only computer generated animation, which turned out to be a great success. Writers Joss Whedon, Andrew Stanton, Joel Cohen, and Alec Sokolow brought some very colorful characters to life when creating Toy Story. The story is surrounded by a group of toys that come to life whenever there is no adults present. The characters were brought to life by voices of some of the
biggest names in Hollywood, such as Tom Hanks as Woody, and Tim Allen as Buzz Lightyear.

Toy Story was the top-grossing film during its first weekend release, and went on to earn over $191 million throughout the United States and Canada and more than $361 million worldwide. The instant success of the movie encouraged writers to continue the journey of these playroom toys, which inspired Toy Story 2. The sequel to Toy Story was an even bigger success than the original, and continues to bring in sales to this day.

Disney/Pixar feature films have proved to be exactly what movie goers are looking for, and has left fans eagerly awaiting the arrival of Toy Story 3. The film is set to be released on June 18th, 2010, with most of the original cast still there to bring these toys to life. After all, with two previous film still entertaining audiences around the world, it was a must to keep actors such as Tom Hanks and Tim Allen voicing the characters that so many have grown to love.

Toy Story 3 is expected to take control of the box office during the release of the new film, but online sportbooks want to know just how well viewers expect this film to do. Fans can wager on the success of this movie by placing a bet on how well it will do at the box office, using entertainment betting lines.
