Director Lee Unkrich and Producer Darla K. Anderson took on WonderCon this Saturday to promote ‘Toy Story 3′, presenting new trailers and exclusive clips from the next Pixar film to a packed audience.
Lee Unkrich announced that the film has 4 weeks left in production until its completion, and that the team spent 2 and a half years of storyboarding and writing, with Michael Arndt (‘Little Miss Sunshine’) from an idea conceived nearly 4 years ago by the Pixar High Council.
They include CEO John Lasseter (director of the first two ‘Toy Story’ films) Pete Docter & Bob Peterson (‘Up’), Andrew Stanton (‘Wall-E’), Darla K. Anderson (producer of ‘Cars’) and ‘Toy Story 2′ co-director and the man given the reigns for the third film – Lee Unkrich.
The high council took a trip to a cabin in the north of California where they spent 2 days working on the story that was to become the company’s 11th feature film.
